The job objective is to support microalgal biomass production by performing onsite sampling and testing

Algae Intern
This internship will be remote, the candidates can work from home. The interns will be working up to 32
hrs. per week and we will be paying $12/hr. The duration of this project is up to 6 months.

Successful candidate will lead metabolic engineering in efforts in yeast and microalgal hosts. The
successful candidate will serve as a technical lead on a project targeting development of microalgal
systems with enhanced CO2 capture and conversion capacity, including protein engineering, screening, and
expression in eukaryotic hosts. Must be a recent PhD graduate within the last three years.

Postdoc (Fixed Term) Successful candidates will collaborate on a multi-institutional project focused on
Secure Biosystems Design through the development of novel biocontainment approaches in cyanobacterial
hosts. The successful candidate will serve as a technical lead on a project targeting development of
genetic safeguards in cyanobacteria including high-throughput engineering. Candidates must have a PhD
degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a closely related field conferred by the
